We are counting the days to return to our workshops, but while this is not happening here is a work done by Sarah Amos on our Hare Project. The piece was made of stoneware and finished with oxides.

The Hares starting to coming along very well, these are drying for firing. Many more to come.
In our Workshops students have the freedom to choose what they want to do but during the year we give specific classes as small projects, for example the Hare Project.
In this project the students are learning to make a sculpture of a hare, with this they develop several techniques. The tutor of this project is Susan Zeppellini.
The project began 5 weeks ago and is close to finishing the construction of the sculpture and entering the finishing phase with glazes.
Becky comes to our Friday afternoon class. She’s very new to ceramics and working with clay. This cute little Easter bunny is going to be fantastic. We’ll done Becky!
The amazing Stag Head made by Sara Tapper. She used Stoneware and decorated freely with a mixture of oxides and glazes, the result is phenomenal.
