This is the work of our resident student Greta Ayto. Inspired by African masks Greta used estoneware and experimented with many oxides. The satisfaction of seeing a young student creating art without fear of experimenting makes my day.

Jan Lewis Bowl
This beautiful bowl by Jan Lewis, was made with stoneware and decorated with layers of oxides and glazes. Spectacular finishing.
New poster
I produced a new poster, which I’ll be distributing at the end of the month. I will also be announcing a series of events that will take place during 2018.
Kids Workshop 2
As seen in the previous post, we had an excellent workshop with the kids. In the Christmas period they returned to finish the pieces and to apply the glazes. These are some of the results.

The light house was a creation by Sian Griffiths, she used terracota, and a solar panel light. What a great idea!
